How to disable a Kaspersky Internet Security Firewall?


Kaspersky is one of the most trusted antivirus software available to the computer users. Providing complete security to the network to which your computer system is connected, it features a firewall that keeps the malicious URLs, viruses, and activities far away. The KIS firewall also prevents the viruses to transmit information on your computer, which can not only corrupt your software but also steal your confidential information.

Besides these advantages, you may face an issue with it. The one and only one issue with KIS firewall is that it sometimes stops you download the applications or software from particular unauthorized sources. But if you are sure about the authenticity of that source and still want to download any application from it, then disabling the KIS Firewall will do wonders for you. Make sure you temporarily disable the firewall as it may cause serious issues such as virus attack and more to your computer system. To make this happen, follow the below-mentioned instructions:

Turning off the firewall:

1.       
Open your Kaspersky Internet Security program
2.       Click Settings and then open Protection Center side-tab
3.       Now, hit the Firewall option and drag the slider to turn it off or disable 
4.       It’s done

Please note that this may leave your computer system at risk and your data vulnerable to the viruses, online threats, and other hacking attacks. So, it is recommended to turn it on back again once you download and install that software or complete some other purpose the KIS firewall was not allowing for. To turn the firewall on, repeat the aforementioned steps and move the slider in the opposite direction. Your PC along with the applications, software, and data available on it will get protected again!
